Seminole Golf Club
This course was designed to resemble a Scottish links course so there are few trees but plenty of water hazards Many holes were designed to play alongside the ocean Most of the greens and tees are slightly elevated and the terrain is predominantly flat but there is a ridge of mounding that comes into play in the middle of the course The greens are somewhat large undulating and reasonably fast A regular presences on GOLF Magazine s ranking of the Top 100 Courses in the U S and the world this is also one of the most exclusive clubs in the world Seminole turned down Jack Nicklaus for membership so that should tell you something Ben Hogan used to practice there for 30 straight days every spring to prepare for the Masters He once said If I were a young man going on the pro tour I d try to make arrangements to get on Seminole If you can play Seminole you can play any course in the world Easier said than done Ben
